Our facility is owner-operated by the Hartman family. Combined with staff, we have decades of experience either living with, fostering, grooming, caring for cats and dogs and/or formal education in animal and veterinary care. We also all just love animals!
The facility is a brand new constructed building. We have used only the highest quality 2” X 6” exterior wall construction, offering additional insulation beyond the Building Code for protection against cold in the winter and warmth in the summer, as well as, providing significant noise reduction. Interior walls are fully-insulated, again for noise reduction and is beyond Building Code requirements.
Air flow through ducts from a high efficiency furnace ensures a constant flow of clean, fresh air, with appropriate humidity levels. This air flow cuts down on airborne viruses and bacteria – a feature not offered by radiant or geothermal in-floor heating. In-floor heat also has been shown to be an annoyance to dog paws, as most dogs prefer to have cooler, rather than warmer, surfaces under their pads. Fans in every room maintain constant air movement.
